John F. Simpson IV

John F. Simpson IV is a founding partner of Simpson Dattilo, LLC, a boutique law firm providing legal representation and trusted counsel to clients in corporate, administrative, real estate, and estate planning matters from offices in Chicago and Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.  Mr. Simpson focuses his practice on real estate, land use, probate, estate planning, administrative law, and local prosecution.  His clients include real estate developers, property managers, executors and trustees, vacation rental companies, transportation companies, and local municipalities.  Mr. Simpson also serves as Village Prosecutor for the Village of Willow Springs, Illinois and as Administrative Law Judge for the Village of Hillside, Illinois.

Mr. Simpson has litigated matters in Cook, DuPage, Will, Lake, Kane, Kendall, and Peoria counties.  During law school, Mr. Simpson worked for the late, Honorable John W. Darrah, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.  Mr. Simpson is admitted to practice in Illinois, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois.



Recognitions/Memberships

Mr. Simpson gives back his time serving on the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Character & Fitness, and mentoring and advising undergraduates attending his alma matter, Bradley University. He is a member of the planning and zoning commission for the Village of Westmont, and he also enjoys memberships in the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Justinian Society of Lawyers, and Union League Club of Chicago.
